Maintenance Operations Controller
flyforbeans Aviation Limited is the
new low cost airline planning to start services from
Cardiff International Airport to a range of European
destinations.
flyforbeans are looking for dedicated
and self motivated professionals who want to be part
of a dynamic team managing the day-to-day aircraft engineering
requirements of the airline. You should have at least
10 years experience working in an aircraft maintenance
environment, with good communication and organisational
skills. Preference will be given to licensed aircraft
engineers with Boeing 737 experience.
Working a four-on, four-off day and
night shift rota, safety will be your number one priority
at all times. You will be responsible for co-ordinating
all aircraft maintenance activities, liaising with the
airline operations department, regulatory authorities,
manufacturers and service providers as required. You
will become an essential part of the airlines success
ensuring that the airline’s fleet is maintained in the
most safe, efficient and effective way.

Revenue Managers
flyforbeans Aviation Limited is the new
low cost airline planning to start services from Cardiff
International Airport to a range of European destinations.
Our Revenue Management team will be
responsible for maximising seat revenue on our European low cost
flights, through pricing strategy and inventory management, and to
contribute to the wider success of the commercial operation.
You will provide assistance in profiling
financial targets for our routes at the start of each season and
you’ll update these on a regular basis.
You’ll participate in our management team
meetings, presenting route performance data/issues and you’ll action
the key tasks identified.
Working with our Head of Marketing,
you’ll make recommendations on offers, pricing strategies and
promotional mechanics to meet trading requirements, as well as
monitoring our pricing and fare rules and correct allocation of
inventory.
Responsible for pricing and inventory
allocation of the route portfolio at season set up, you’ll identify
holiday periods, ensuring peak/off peaks are correctly identified,
and ensuring that our directional pricing is appropriate for each
market. You’ll develop competitor response strategies and ensure
that our competitors’ prices are regularly monitored, logged and
used in setting price and inventory authorisation levels.
Working with our Head of Operations,
you’ll generate IT rates and large ad hoc group requests, and will
provide network planning input on optimisation of our routes when on
sale, and on schedule development as necessary.
The people we seek will ideally have
experience of airline revenue management/trading, particularly from
within the low cost airline sector. They’ll be highly numerate, with
good commercial awareness, and good analytical and problem solving
skills. Experience of appropriate analytical tools e.g. MS Excel and
MS Access would be a definite advantage.
Good communication skills, and the
maturity to come to their own commercial judgements and make fast
decisions, coupled with strengths in analysis, interpretation and
communication of sales performance data, are very important to us.
They’ll have a passionate interest in the
travel industry and in the low cost airline sector in particular.
Alongside their passion for what we do, they’ll have an
understanding of successful campaign strategies and promotional
mechanics in the sector.
